As Vice President of Product, Music at Gracenote, Tom Rettig is responsible for overseeing development and management of the company's music data, content recognition and recommendation products which power the next-generation music experiences offered by the world's leading streaming services as well as top web, mobile, CE and automotive companies. Prior to joining Gracenote, Tom was VP of Production Studios (art, audio, animation and software) at LeapFrog and before that, Sound Director at Broderbund Software. At both companies, he played key roles in bringing several award-winning products to market. Tom has served on the Executive Board of the MIDI Manufacturers Association and is a voting member of the Recording Academy. He attended the University of California, San Diego where he earned a BA degree with honors in Music.
