With over 16 years of rich experience in the field of media & advertising, Shantanu has had a career studded with landmarks. With strong roots in brand management and advertising at FCB Ulka, Shantanu has serviced prestigious brands like Amul, Zee, Bajaj Consumer Products and more.
His entrepreneurial spirit is visibly always at work: Be it his stint at Viacom where he was instrumental in the growth story of MTV & Nickelodeon through Roadies, Splitsvilla, Stunt Mania or his stint at Times Network where he was instrumental in the launch of Movies Now, Romedy Now and in revamping all news brands – Times Now, ET Now and the Bollywood news & music channel Zoom. His media diversity also goes beyond different genres of TV into the launch of north markets for Radio City.
In recent years he has launched Viu OTT in HSM, Tamil Nadu and AP+Telangana regions apart from championing the Korean face of the app. In his current avatar Shantanu heads marketing for Universal Music India & South Asia where he operates at the cusp of media, consumer and content across international music, domestic pop, hip-hop and regional forays.
