Heavy Metal Records was established in 1979 making it one of the oldest independent record labels. As one of the pioneers for heavy metal music HMR has released genre influential artists such as; Diamond Head, Magnum, Scopions, Witchfinder General, Cloven Hoof, Accept, and Eloy.
HMR recognises that as demographics change in India, and greater cultural exchanges happen globally heavy metal artists and songwriters are likely to evolve. Therefore, we wish to invest into the Indian heavy metal scene.
We are also looking for label partners based in India that we can look for collaboration agreements and licensing deals with.
