Director and Producer Vikranth Pawar has over two decades of experience in the theatre and
media industry in India. Starting out with some notable work in English theatre, Vikranth
chose to talk about the unspoken concerns of contemporary relationships through his plays
namely Conditions Apply, Anything but Love, Two to Tango, Clogged Arteries and more.
He then expanded his canvas by venturing into large scale musicals.
From Co-Directing the first musical at the Kingdom of Dreams (Gurgaon) - Zangoora,
writing and directing their follow up resident show Jhumroo, to being Disney’s choice
Director for their first musical – Beauty and the Beast (2015), Vikranth has set industry
milestones with each production.
He currently heads the Live Entertainment Division for Disney India under which, he
delivered the successful launch of Disney Aladdin The Musical, which ran to packed houses
in Mumbai and Delhi.
